it’s a common debate as to whether or not violence is human nature or human nurture. most people argue that it’s a part of human nature. i however believe it’s the product of environment and nurturing. in the book The Lord Of The Flies by william Golding, he write about characters that are stranded on an island after a plane wreck and struggle to survive. the setting is what at first seems to be a pleasant island. the island is first seen by the boys as an escape but soon turns into a prison. the main characters are Jack and Ralph. they have many conflicts in their relationship. conflict occurs when both Jack and Ralph want to be chief. near the end Jack convinces the other boys to join his tribe and try to kill Ralph. i think one
