Have you ever met someone who changed your life, but not in a way you could have ever imagined? The summer before my 9th grade year at Lord Botetourt, I developed a relationship with a boy who I will never forget. He changed my self image, self-esteem, way of thinking, other relationships, and personal outlook on life. River Lawson affected me in ways I didn’t even think were possible when I decided to date him on July 6th, 2013. And, I definitely had no idea I would be, where I was almost one and a half years later, at rock bottom.
