Loop Pass Research Paper

The loop pass is when the first player usually a dummy half or the first receiver of a play of the ball or a penalty loops around the player who he has just passed the ball to. He will loop around the player and then receive the ball again. But only if he is fast enough if he is to slow the move wouldn’t work because he wouldn’t be in the right position to receive the pass. After the first player has got the ball back he should proceed to pass the ball down the line. This could lead to metres gained, line break or even directly into a try. The first player can loop around any number of players to receive the ball. The player who gets passed to by the player who loops could also be a prop to caused players to be drawn into him but when he offloads there …show more content…
An expert at the loop pass was Leeds with dummy half Rob Burrow. The loop pass is an effective way to get an over lap because the dummy half is usually out of play after the play of the ball but because he looped around the first receiver he is now back in play. A way to stop this move is to stop the player from looping around the player. This can be done by tackling him late so he cant get into position or just block him. Both of these are at risk of giving a penalty away. Another way the loop pass can be countered is by having a storm defence to press the first receiver which will stop the second pass. Or cause him to mess the pass up which will both stop the move. A different way to stop the loop pass being effective is to let the move happen but put more men on the side where the team are attacking to provide cover a way of doing this is to push the full back forward into the defensive line which will stop the over lap. However this will create spaces behind the defensive line because the full back isn't in his position so a kick over the top could exploit the space vacated by the full

A routing loop is a situation that occurs between two or more routers in which a packet is continuously routed between the routers as a result of irregularities from the routing algorithms and/or the routing tables of the routers. (routing loops, 2015). An example is when three routers are connected in a triangular pattern i.e. router A is connected to router B, router B is connected to router C and router C is connected to router A, when the network is converged, all three routers will have sent their routing tables to their neighbors. If router C goes down and router B tries to send a packet to C at the same time the router went down before it receives an updated table from router A, it will look into its routing table and it sees that router A can get to C, so it will update its route to C through A and will send the packet through router A. the same thing happens when router A receives the packet from router B, since it received no update on a change from B, it also checks its table and sees that B can get to C, so it updates its route to C through B and sends the packet to B and the packet keeps getting sent this way until the maximum hop count is reached…

The field is 100 yards and you have 4 tries to move the ball 10 yards, and once that requirement is met, you get 4 more tries to get another 10 yards and so on so fourth. These trys are ended when the knee of the player in possession of the ball touches the ground. There are a total of three main ways you may score in football. The first one is the most obvious, reaching your team’s endzone.…
