The book I chose to read for the read aloud project is called Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come! by Nancy Carlson. This book is about a mouse who is excited to start his first day of kindergarten. It describes everything he has to do to get ready for this special day. He has to wash his face, get dressed, eat breakfast and pack his bag. On the way to school, he asks his mom questions about what he might do on the first day of Kindergarten. He is excited until he gets to the door of his classroom and sees all the students. He becomes sad and nervous. After talking to his teacher, he goes into the classroom and makes a new friend as well as other things. He decided that kindergarten is going to be Fun!
