When a human beings its life is something to be nurtured and cared for but, many people argue that they have the right to decide whether or not they want to bear that child. Because many women cannot financially support the child or have been victims of rape. It is wrong to abort a fetus that passes the first trimester, since it starts to develop its organs and nerves, the mother will have great loss, and can lead to long term health effects for the women. Abortion does not only affect the women but also her partner and even her family; going through with abortion is a traumatic experience for anyone. Having an unwanted child due to a rape may give a mother temporary relief, in the long term it can cause more emotional damage than there was before. “Ending a life of an innocent child adds more emotional damage to a woman who is already in pain.”(Life is Precious) The health risks that come with abortion have more of an impact in the long run. Since the health effects the mother she may fall into depression, hard time bonding with kids, and self punish themselves after they lose the baby. Roe supports abortion due to the fact that she could not financially afford her third child. She also sought it as an invasion of a woman 's rights; the invasion of privacy for women.
