Abortion is legal in the U.S. since, the case of 1973 of Roe vs. Wade. Roe won the trial to legalize abortion since it falls under the fourteenth amendment of womens rights. Abortion is morally wrong and inhumane to kill any child because the mother is not able to support it or even not having the burden of a child. “Murder is the “unlawful killing of a human being” with some level of intent.”(source 6) People are right about abortion being murder. But what they don’t know is that the baby in the womb isn’t actually considered alive until 16-17 weeks in the womb so if the woman was to have the abortion within the 16 to 17 weeks then it really wouldn’t be considered murder and besides the woman should be able to choose if she wants an abortion because she may have health problems or she just wouldn’t be able to take care of the child. People say that abortion should be illegal because you’re murdering a human being which could be true at some point but again some people don’t know that the baby isn’t fully alive until 16-17 weeks. For example “This is why abortion must be illegal if murder is illegal. It should never be “lawful” to kill any innocent human being.” In this quote they are saying that it should never be lawful to kill an innocent human being but these people don’t know what situation the woman could be in and why she needs the abortion.…

Abortion can make someone’s life or break someone’s life. This is something that in my opinion is a very misinterpreted thing in such a way which is very wrong. I say this because people think that it’s the right thing to do if they know that they won’t be able to take care of the child. A lot of woman who experience unintended pregnancy undergo abortions also. Hospitals around America stopped providing the choice for a woman to have an abortion.…

Raising a child is an all-encompassing phenomenon, something you can never understand until you’re in the thick of it—and definitely something you should bypass until you’re ready.” Many women will say abortion is something that should be a right when a female has been raped. Many will also argue that they have the right to choose what happens to their body. And they also argue that if you are raped and forced to have the child you would have a constant reminder of the horrible act that brought your child into this world. In 1973, in Roe v Wade, the Supreme Court ruled that a "right of privacy" allows a woman to abort her fetus before it is viable (Medoff 2010). Taking this into consideration, any regulations or laws that create an undue burden on women trying to get an abortion before the fetus is viable, should be considered unconstitutional. States along the bible belt have the most problems with abortion, therefore they typically make it harder to have an abortion. States get around dealing with cases that could be ruled unconstitutional by making it difficult for abortion clinics to keep their doors open and implementing the fear of judgement. In doing so, they are no longer creating an undue burden on women seeking abortions.…
