Based on the case study in Dimensions of Long-Term Care Management, Don and Mary are trying to consider which long-term care facility will best fit their needs. Don has been helping take care of Mary since she is struggling with memory lose and they do not have the most money due to spend a lot of money after retirement. Thus, the couple uses Don’s Army service in order to help pay for the long-term care facility. Upon figuring out what long-term care facility they want to be in, they can also use technology in the health care field in order to transfer their health records and assistive technology that allows individual to take care of themselves as they age in the communitites.
