The way in which this source is helpful for the research I am conducting is because it provides information or research study on a major event that occurred during World War 2. This research study that fourteen men and elven women ranging from the ages of seventy-one to eighty-five years resulted to have unpleasant behaviors towards food influenced by actions of the Holocaust. A couple of these behaviors are they have difficulty throwing away expired food, therefore resulting to storing an excessive amount of food. Other effects these survivors have is they tend to have certain anxiety towards specific foods and they get overwhelmed when the food is ready when they desire to eat. Due to the events these Jews had to withstand during Holocaust caused by the Nazis most of these elderly survivors have to take health care or some sort of food nutrition program. This source does answer a thesis statement I have on this this topic. The thesis statement is that World War 2 had a negative affects to people around the world. Also this supports this statement even more because after the war is over, people still have issues influenced during that time period.
