Humans are social creatures and don’t like to be on the outside or alone. Sometimes when people are alone they adopt unhealthy behaviors. People often keep their feelings bottled up inside them or commit desperate acts in an attempt to feel better. In Of Mice and Men John Steinbeck shows the desperate loneliness of migrant workers during the Great Depression. Three character in particular demonstrate loneliness in the novel.
