When her parents said they could not come, they called her closest and most reliable friend, my mom. My mom left work in a hurry to go see Amal. They rushed her to the hospital immediately and she had to have her stomach pumped. Now, her parents do not let her go to big parties because of what happened at Lolla. She made everyone who loved her extremely worried. She felt terrible for my mom because she had to leave work and she was drunk which my mom is very against, considering my father is an alcoholic. She lost some friends because they thought she was a bad influence. Amal was the talk of school at the beginning of the year. Now it will be harder for her to apply for college and she could not participate in the first 20% of her sport. Amal has realized how wrong it was of her to do that to herself.
