We had a year meeting in the hall. I found an empty chair at the back and sat down. Naturally, my head dropped down and I began fiddling with my hands. Our year coordinator stood up on the stage with a microphone and told us our geography classes are changing. They handed out timetables to everyone and said our new classes will start tomorrow.
I don’t have many friends, I never have over my schooling life, just the two. Cassidy and Sophia are my friends but it’s not like we stay in contact after school hours. Well, I don’t anyway. We are all in separate geography classes and don’t know which teachers we have. Im nervous, but nothing would have prepared me enough. I walked into my classroom and took a seat. “-but anyway, I’ll get someone to handout the text books and I want everyone to turn to page 247. Ms Elizabeth, would you mind getting the books from the back, my dear? You know where they are. You’ve been there before.”
My mind flashed back to the horror and the terror that was rushing through me when he slowly locked the classroom door and shoved me into that same storeroom. I quickly snapped out of it and followed his orders. The smell of old text books was trapped in that room like murderers trapped in a cell. As the smell creeped out and made its way to my nose a rush of panic slowly began to hit me, hard. I took the pile of text books to Mr Hensley. As I handed them over he gently grazed my hands with his. It wasn’t noticeable enough for the class to see, but enough for me to know what he was doing.
The lunch bell rang and I rush out of that classroom as fast as I could. I could hear him call my name. He wanted to talk to me after class but I wasn’t going to have that day
