Sometimes I will unconsciously use logical fallacies. I remember there was a period I was addicted to playing computer games and often had quarrels with my parents about this. They thought the computer games was meaningless and a waste of time, but I considered it the way to relax myself. Each time they blamed me, I would respond as many other rebellious kids, you don’t have the position to blame me, because you would do what I do now when you were my age. That’s exactly a logical fallacy, but I just realize it until now. The logical fallacy I used is tu quoque, meaning that if the opponent has done the thing he is arguing against, his argument is totally meaningless. Now I am grown up, realizing the how ridiculous this logical fallacy is.
