Logic is the reasoning assessed on the principles of validity. Emotion is the intuitive feeling as distinguished from reasoning. The rule of balance defines the way an individual’s morals bristle with prejudice, evaluating their motivation by pride and vanity in the discovery to reach new insights involving logic and one’s plight of present perception. These concepts can be evident with reference to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, a novel-to-play adaption by Simon Stephens, through questioning the thought of subjecting logic with emotion and observing themes that alert the stability in the conflict of forming individual identity. Its main character, and narrator of the book, fifteen-year-old Christopher is mathematically…

The hero is not always obvious just as the villain isn't always obvious. In the series Artemis Fowl the main character is a twelve year old boy named Artemis Fowl. He, in my opinion, develops the qualities of a true hero. At first glance he doesn't seem anything like a hero, however as he develops, we see him change into a grand young man. His heroism is explained within these basic examples: he cares about his family and friends, he does what's right and stops those who would do wrong, and he is a brilliant mastermind.…

While I have only lived on this planet for a relatively brief time, I have been able to get an idea of how our world is progressing as well as what we can do to impact how we change it. As it stands, the world seems to be going downhill with increasing speed. This is largely in part due to the ways in which we interact with others, ourselves, and how we treat the world on a global scale. With the world evolving as we too change, it is fundamentally important that we better ourselves so that the world may follow suit. There are many different approaches in which we can improve ourselves, but there is one way that holds the most prevalence to me: logic.…
