Logic, Fat Joe, And Journey

Albert Einstein once said “Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.” True success was found by these three artists Logic, Fat Joe, and Journey. All these songs were produced from 1981 - 2016. The songs “Don’t Stop Believing,” “All The Way Up,” and “Intro” all describe success as Inspirational, achievable, and hard to earn.
Logic’s song “Intro” describes how true success is hard earned. Logic says, “Maybe / if I go / platinum / they’ll remember me then.” Logic is saying if he was to get platinum, people will remember him for his hard work, which describes how true success is earned. He says, “ Shoutout / to those / who can / relate” (Logic). If people can relate to Logic can get to where he is if they try hard enough. Throughout the whole song, Logic talks about how he thinks success is viewed from the people that hate/love him. To transition from strong words like “Remember,” “Platinum,” and “Different Faces” to something meaningful like “Shoutout” “Finding a Way” and “Dreams.” The structure of this song helps characterize true success as hard earned and renowned.

He says, “Nothing can stop me / i’m all the way up.” He is saying that he can’t be stopped from haters and the only thing that can stop him is himself. He says, “I’m all / the way up.” Fat Joe means that anyone can go up to the top. Fat Joe says, “Go all / the way up.” He wishes the best for you to go wherever you want. He transitions from the words “All the way up,” and “Nothing can stop me” to meaningful words like “Go all the way up,” and “Nothing can stop you.” The structure of this song helps characterize True Success as
