Log Horizon Vs Sao

Yes, I'm going to compare SAO and Log Horizon, just because everyone compares the two and there are misconceptions that they are "the same thing". It would be like saying Star Wars and Star Trek are the same things. Similar setting, yes, but different focuses that appeal to different tastes. In my opinion, SAO and Log Horizon both have their purposes and niches.

SAO is more focused on the combat and Kirito is very reminiscent of a generic Shounen main character: He's powerful and has a special something that makes him better than most anyone else and wins more through determination than anything else.

Log Horizon has much more emphasis on tactics and politics than SAO. Where Kirito is the typical hot-headed protagonist that runs in swords
