Locus of control is the outcome on your life based off of your own beliefs. For example if you have a good, positive perspective on your life, it will head in the right direction and be very pleasant. There are two types of locus of control, external and internal. External locus of control is believing the good things in life come from “luck”. Internal locus of control is believing the good things in life are based off of your own decisions and efforts. Locus of control is very important to the success of students because it dictates whether your life will turn out pleasant or not very pleasant. There are many ways to be a successful student.
