Lockheed Martin Mission Statement

. This mission statement displays a sense that Lockheed Martin cares about their customers and feels responsible for their well-being. Additionally, Lockheed Martin presents a perfect example of “globalization” by not putting a constraint of a specific area of the world that they intend to operate; instead Lockheed Martin states that they plan to help and keep their customers safe.
All of what Lockheed Martin has promised can only be accomplished through the use of innovation. I believe that Lockheed Martin is using the “strategic choice perspective” of organizational adaptation. This perspective requires Lockheed Martin to be on the forefront of innovation so that they can adapt, overcome adversity, and reshape the global market in which they operate.
Lockheed Martin’s vision statement, which is “Be the global leader in supporting our customers to strengthen global security, deliver citizen services, and advance scientific discovery”, shows a high level of commitment towards their customers, and with this commitment, they intend to further their growth by enhancing the world and the citizens within it ("Who are we", 2016).
