Recently, some NFL players have not stood properly during the national anthem, they kneel, sit, lock arms with other players, or raise a fist into the air. They are protesting against police officers killing African-Americans for no apperant reason. Though their message is being misapprehended. People feel they are disrespecting their country, however, many football players, such as Seattle Seahawks’ Richard Sherman, have spoken against all the criticism. In the article, it states he said, “More videos have come out of guys getting killed, and I think people are still missing the point.
