Experience is the best teacher that’s what I was always taught when it came to my education. During my high school years I experienced an overcrowded, understaffed, high school that many could not learn in. Students disrespecting teachers and teachers not trying to deliver their lessons because of the uncontrollable classes. Everyone deserves to be able to obtain an education, but what educational warrior will it take to have that profound effect on students to help that take place. Someone dedicated, and loving wiling to go above and beyond to deliver exceptional guidance to their students. Mr. Wooley, a teacher, coach, and savior to some dedicated his time, effort and intelligence to make sure his students along with athletes, were not only educated but cultivated at a school that was overcrowded and headed downhill. An overcrowded school that affected hundred of students, parents, faulty and friends has affected graduation, sporting events and classrooms. The community has been fighting for a change in Livonia High school for quite sometime now. It’s the only School in the parish and has the maximum capacity of students. Overcrowdings has put limitations on students learning as well as teachers delivering lessons on a daily basis. Graduation was an important event that was held on the football field at Livonia. Its held in the gym if rain is in the forecast, which puts limitations on the number of people that are allowed to attend. This is very unfair to parents, family and friends of the graduating class only three family members can attend. Overcrowding classes at Livonia high school has made many kids less interest in learning. Many fights have occurred and a lot of the good teachers if they are not retiring they are transferring somewhere that is less
