As with Christianity it is believed that the soul is created with the creation of the person. The soul is many things such as knowledge, purity, and harmony. It is suggested that knowledge is a recollection only, suggesting that the soul must have existed somewhere else before the birth of the body. Meaning the body is born with knowledge.
