Cheryl Bardoe, in her article titled, Living in the Dark,”teaches you about a diffrent types of deep sea habitats and extraordinary creatures you would never thought have lived down their. The first scientist to go down to the sea floor were squeezed into a mini submarine called Alvin. Down on the sea floor they found life were they found creatures that didn't need light to live or see like giant 7 foot worms. The project was located near monterey bay California where they saw sulfide and methane ooze up from the cracks of the ocean floor also near two tectonic plates.
