Ever since i was 13 i was out in the fields working to get money for video games,& shoes. Some days were better than others, some would be way too hot and miserable. I had no other choice but to work to get the new fifa or call of duty game. There were some days were i would get home from school, change and go help my dads friend pick tomatoes or sometimes help plant it. If there's something i learned working in the fields is that it's something i will not like to do in my future. It's not because i just don't like it, it's more because of all the hard work and dedication you put in doesn't pay off.
I remember some days would go by so slow. I'd always be saying to myself “come on keep going you'll get your money soon. My moms advice kept me going. She unfortunately did

Knowing most of my fellow peers my whole life has taught me who are my real friends. Who i can trust who to hang out with and who to go to when i'm in need of some help or advice. I've had the chance to do things i enjoy such as playing soccer, hanging out with friends , getting to go fishing, and hanging out with family I've realized though how small Live Oak is compared to other cities around and miles from us. Having the chance to go to mexico and meeting relatives. I would not like to live out there nor drop out of school because there is people everywhere who have indeed dropped out and then struggle later in life. I Would like to graduate high school, attend college and maybe play soccer for a local team or even for the school.that's something that i'm going to consider the rest of high school is what dropping out of high school can result in, because of its effects i learned what a great opportunity we have to attend school for free. This made me change my perspective towards school. As a kid i didn't really like school but as i grew up i learned the true value of school, and how it benefits us in so many different

The purpose of college, this question can be answered in many different ways. The purpose of college for some people might be to get a degree and move on into the next chapter in life, but I feel that college should be more than that. I feel that college should be a way to express yourself in ways you couldn’t before and to be able to explore new ideas and to shape yourself to become someone new. College for some people might seem like just another step in the never ending staircase of life, but to me college is more than, that it's shaping me into the person I want to become and shaping my life for what I want and who I want to be. I’ve always despised the idea of working, like having to do manual labor, or even sitting in an office building typing on a computer for 7 hours. Just the thought of having to sit down and do that boring, and possibly challenging work for so long made me sad. I always wanted to be a scientist and make big discoveries, maybe even work for NASA and help with space programs! So the idea of doing something in the line of manual labor was never a possibility for me, just the thought of it was just unappealing. And ironically, it just so happened to be my very first experience with working, helping out my sister's boyfriend with sprinkler repair!…

For example, I developed severe anxiety and depression at the age of fourteen. If I were to dropped out of school at that time I am unsure of whether I would have found the motivation to earn my GED, much less continue onto a higher education. Another example, which happened often for my classmates in high school, would be the effects of becoming pregnant while still in school. Even during my short two and a half years at Radford University, I have experienced classmates becoming pregnant and not returning to school after giving birth. I think if I were to have gotten pregnant in high school, it would have ended similarly to if I had dropped out of school at the age of fourteen.…

My time before college, in high school and below, was awesome. I felt as though I was successful and I thrived for the enhancement of my knowledge, as I still do today. In high school there were so many activities that I enjoyed doing and from there I made different connection outside of school. When I was in 10th grade I created a community service project called “Operation Make a Move” in order to get kids from this generation more active and excited about it. I would go to summer camps and teach the kids dance routines; it wasn’t limited to only girls, boys also joined in on the fun.…
