3 Keys to Living a Fulfilling Life "Every man dies. Not every man really lives." is a famous quote by William Ross Wallace that awakens people. People have been convincing others to enjoy their life; the phrase "Carpe diem" by the ancient Romans and "YOLO (You Only Live Once)" by a famous rapper/entertainer Drake. All these phrases basically mean the same thing; to live a fulfilling life. Everyone view their life in a different way; some people believe life is too short while others believe it is long enough. So when people hear these phrases they think of different ways they want to live their life. Most people argue that it is very important to help others in order to live a fulfilling life but this is not always the case. Michael Jordan, a famous American former professional basketball player, said, "To be successful you have to be selfish, or else you never achieve.” Being selfish helps people make the right decision and it is very important because this will make sure they regret the least throughout their life. Furthermore one must be satisfied oneself in order to satisfy others, so being selfish is more important than helping others. “You’ll be healthier. Selfish people tend to take better care of themselves instead of giving too much energy away serving the needs of everyone else, says Rosen (Vozza)". Being selfish brings physical benefits because it helps people save their energy and time. They could exercise or enjoy their hobbies which helps them relieve their stress. A number of people judge others by the look, personality, occupation and etc, but it is not right to judge each other. "We judge ourselves by our intentions and others by their actions. (Stephen R.Covey)". It is saying that people are more generous when it comes to themselves and more stingy when it comes to other people. However, it is impossible for people to know the entire story and the intention behind it. Therefore, people should just let things go and try their best to understand each other.
