3 Keys to Living a Fulfilling Life "Every man dies. Not every man really lives." is a famous quote by William Ross Wallace that awakens people. People have been convincing others to enjoy their life; the phrase "Carpe diem" by the ancient Romans and "YOLO (You Only Live Once)" by a famous rapper/entertainer Drake. All these phrases basically mean the same thing; to live a fulfilling life. Everyone view their life in a different way; some people believe life is too short while others believe it is long enough. So when people hear these phrases they think of different ways they want to live their life. However, there are three main keys one must have to living a more fulfilling life; one must be selfish, learn how to forgive others and never judge others. One must be selfish to live a fulfilling life. Most people argue that it is very important to help others …show more content…
People experience a number of conflicts throughout their life but what is really important is how they get over those conflicts. According to the recent studies, forgiving others has both mental and health benefits. “Forgiveness literally lowers your blood pressure, a study shows, and the same holds true for the person you forgive. One study even showed that forgiveness was linked to lower use of medications, better sleep and lower fatigue and pain(Seppala)”. Forgiving people relieves the stress which has a countless number of negative effects on the body. People should first calm down, take deep breath, and try to understand others. As Jonathan Lockwood Huie mentioned, "Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace." It is better to forgive others as soon as possible and do something better for yourself. It is waste of time to be mad at someone who is not worth that much time of your life.
