A woman who currently volunteers at a pregnancy center has shared a video showing her abortion regret in an attempt to help other women who are going through the same thing.
In an interview with Live Action News, Megan Rhoades said she had always taken a pro-life stance until she was the one who was confronted with an unplanned pregnancy several years ago. Her situation suddenly made her think that abortion was her only way out.
Rhoades became a Christian not long after she terminated her pregnancy, but she had not really realized how much she needed God to heal her from what she did. When she volunteered at a pro-life pregnancy center, the facility’s director suggested she find healing first to make her ready to help other women who are vulnerable

I had to humble myself before the Lord and really deal with the reality that every woman is vulnerable to abortion and I wasn’t any better than anyone else,” Rhoades told Live Action. “I [had been] pretty judgmental about women who chose abortion and never thought I would ever be one of ‘those’ women.”
At one point, Rhoades decided to make a YouTube video conveying the feeling of regret she had for terminating her pregnancy years ago. She also made another video which targets women who may be thinking about having an abortion and those who already had. Most of all, she wants to share the message that Jesus Christ brings hope to a person’s life even though they have participated in abortion.
Last month, Stuff.co.nz published a story detailing the regrets of a New Zealand woman over her decision to end the life of her unborn child in 2004. The child, whom she named Travis, had a missing 22nd chromosome, severe brain damage, major heart ailments, and 99 percent chance of dying of infection.
The woman, who works as a nurse, recalled how Travis came out still at 24 weeks. She said she held her son that moment and said goodbye, but she will never forget

Abortion is a common practice in the United States that the government and society as a whole freely accepts. People that disagree with this view are seen as judgmental and they are often too timid to speak out against the issue. Moreover, they do not believe that one individual can make a difference against the countless pro-choice advocates. In Ray Comfort’s video, he shows how the presentation of a new perspective can change the hearts of many towards when life begins, and abortion in general. He is only one individual; however, he is able to change opinions through his argument, and he causes his listeners to consider his view point without making them feel insignificant or offended.…

Some abortions are done in order to save the child’s life; such as they wouldn’t survive past birth or wouldn’t have a fulfilling life. A woman named Julie was twenty weeks pregnant when she had an ultrasound done to identify the sex of her child. The doctors discovered that the baby’s brain ventricles were doubled in size. This meant that if the baby was carried to term, it would be developed at about the amount a two month old fetus would be. She chose to terminate the pregnancy, rather than risk having a premature baby and having to watch it either die or live in a hospital for months…
