Little Matthew Lewis Narrative

Little Matthew was brought into my newborn photographer studio by his parents, Joseph and Raymond. Matthew Lewis was born on June 20th, so he was just 6 days new at the time of his shoot. That's the sweet spot for taking the best newborn pictures in the studio.

The couple has been together since they met in 2002. They were able to legally marry last year on their 13th anniversary. They now have a beautiful son together and an amazing story to tell. They were able to have him through his own aunt being a surrogate. I absolutely adore hearing a couple's love story, and this one is truly unique.

Matthew's parents chose a pale green theme featuring monkeys for their son's nursery. They wanted something that didn't scream the typical boy colors in nurseries and was pale and neutral. With this in mind, I was able to stick with the neutrals that often show baby in the best light.

It made my heart melt to see how much love they have for their little one. I had to take plenty of shots with each dad and his boy.

I loved the shots of little Matthew Lewis in my antique bowl. I don't use it enough in my newborn photographer studio. He fit into it perfectly, and looked so adorable in it. I found it at the cutest store just around the corner from the studio. I love supporting my local shops, and it can't get more local than that!

I was honored to be chosen as newborn photographer for this little family. I hope to see them at more of Matthew's milestone life moments like when he starts sitting on his own and on his first birthday for a bit of

C.S. Lewis’s book, An Experiment in Criticism is about the quality of the book depends on how it is read since a book does not have a goal of being “good” or “bad”. Lewis achieves this by defining the differences between a “good” and “bad” reader within each chapter of the book. Lewis claims that “bad work never is nor can be enjoyed by anyone” (Page 21). This contradiction undermines Lewis by stating that there are such things as “good and bad art”. Lewis is logical with his syllogism and arguments.…

Some times you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. This quote by Dr. Seuss is the perfect representation of both short stories because both main characters don't value moments until they remember them towards the end of the story. It first appears these two stories are very different, their common theme of rebellion ties them together. In Louis's story he worked in his dad's junk yard where they sell people spare parts.…

In my own opinion I believe that the Other Wes Moore has gone past the point of no return when he shoots Ray and gets arrested. “Wes and his friend traded shots and finally heard Ray scream as he fell behind a black Toyota just fifty feet from his house. Wes and his friend stopped running. They saw no movement and figured the job was done.” (Wes Moore 105) Wes stared making many mistakes as a young boy and has little chances of going back and fixing his life.…

Finally, his ambition to go to college which was ultimately denied by his parents, these events caused a change in Lewis and his determination for desegregation, this change also shaped his future for what was to come as SNCC Chairman.…
