As a vibrant four-year-old, M is achieving many of the anticipated milestones that are expected of his age group. He still needs to work a little bit more on some of the words that are in some of the story books he reads. This experience has taught me a lot about how preschool age children develop physically, cognitively, social/emotionally, and how they language and literacy progresses. I really enjoyed the time spent watching Little Man M at his early childcare center. We as teachers honor, value, and accept children and treat them with pride at all times. We make it our business to know every child. We also take responsibility for supporting children’s development and for them to obtain important knowledge and skills. I can encourage the
