Audrey Hepburn once said “As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others.” I have been very fortunate to discover the incredible rewards of volunteering at a young age, and through engaging in the true gift of service I have committed myself to making a difference in my community through voluntarism. I have learned countless valuable skills through volunteering that I will continue to use for the rest of my life. One of the most amazing places to volunteer is the Little Light House.
