With his lyrical and vivid ways of putting out his messages, his voice is heard worldwide. Mali is inspirational and has set a goal to change the world one album, one song, one line at a time. His song portrays the reality of how women go through situations and later see it as a generational trend continuing down to their daughters and granddaughters. My impression of this song by Mali Music is that he expresses his thoughts in words and tone as well as his commitment in making a change in all females who have been down that rocky path. “Life is but a dream” is merely just a form of saying little girl your falsely told and taught of the greatness of all the is around.
