Throughout my years of working with the Little Hoopsters Program, I have learned many lessons and skills. I have gained a keen sense of patience and the ability to react quickly. Working with kids can be quite a challenge, especially being the young teen I was when I first started working with Little Hoopsters. The kids in the program think that we, high school basketball players, are some type of mythological gods. The kids are eager to learn and that is what motivates me to help them to my fullest potential. It always makes for a laugh when the kids pipe up with some odd comment.
