Not only did she use repetition once again, but she compared herself to a skyscraper. She wants to make the comparison of her being like the skyscraper, built low from the ground, then being built up to something stronger and larger. It helps the readers get a good image and idea of how she plans on fixing herself into something superior than before. Just like a skyscraper, if you’re knocked down, you can be built back up to something more beautiful and stronger, which relates to the theme “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”.
