The three award winning books which are, “The Grapes of Wrath”, “Pearl”, and “Of Mice and Men”, all have in common, a literary message. Steinbeck’s novel, “The Grapes of Wrath”, offers a message about the significance of the community. Individuals need to stick together and help one another on the off chance that they need to thrive to survive. Next was the novel, “Pearl”, which portrayed a message of an idea that evil cannot be defeated by a person alone. Also sends a message of wealth corrupts our lives, meaning a desire for riches is unnatural and can prompt lost point of view of ethics. The individuals who serve or seek after riches in The Pearl are generally appeared to be harsh, willing to lie, cheat or slaughter for material addition.
