But a good story starts with facts, and then adds literary elements such as hyperbole, metaphors, symbolism, and or imagery. This is the strongest and most powerful way to start a story. Here are so reasons why those literary elements make up a good story. First of all, it gives the read a better understanding and a better picture in their mind of what the story is about. If you use emotions to start with a story, it's hard for the reader to put a picture in their mind of what's going on in the story.
