During the literacy module, I was able to learn the importance of building communication in literacy, and reflect on how I am already providing support to my student. I was also able to learn more ideas about the theoretical foundations and the practical strategies to help to prepare and build upon the skills my student already have. I also learned that with the strategies provided in each module, each focused on the adaptation and accommodation that makes the strategies individualized for student instruction. I also liked how each module started with the lowest level of literacy skills, and gave you strategies to build upon those skills by promoting meaningful access to literacy. Overall, the modules allowed me to practice with the application
