Literacy Initiative Assignment Space travel is currently and will continue to be the pinnacle of man’s scientific and technological achievement. Born out of countless hours of chalkboard math and innumerable successes and failures, space flight is truly amazing. So far, the high point of our space travel is the International Space Station, or the ISS. This space station is continually maintained through the hardworking men and women of NASA and Roscosmos, from The United States and Russia, respectively. Obviously, math plays an extremely important role in the building and maintaining of the space station, as does money.
