For example, this is not in the movie, but the book and Lisa Rowe must deal with what she thinks is a threat. A new patient that is also named Lisa and to make an in deference the other girls decide to call her Lisa Cody. The two Lisa’s sit in different phone booths and start to yell at one another and have conversations playfully, Later the new Lisa is happy to know that she is a sociopath as well and she gets put in the same company with what she thinks is her new friend and idol Lisa Rowe. Rowe, however, isn’t happy not one bit with sharing her diagnosis, of which she is proud. She turns to Lisa Cody and starts to lash out to prove that her disorder is wildly severe and to show her dominance. Leading to a competition between the two girls as Rowe challenges Lisa Cody to match her destructive behavior. Rowe accuses Lisa Cody of being an imposter of her disorder and a fake drug addict. Eventually, Rowe steals all the light bulbs and hides them in the closet. Lisa Cody finds the bulbs in a closet and comes to realize that she can’t compete with her, so she decides to run away. When Rowe escapes sometime later, she comes back with news that Lisa Cody has become “a real junkie now.” Which in fact shows that Rowe’s success has been eating away at her for such a tremendous amount of time.
