It was dark but not pitch black, there was sunlight peeking through the window, which was covered with wood that you can tell the person who placed it there was too short to reach the top part of the window. The sun had spotlighted the door as though it was destiny calling. I didn't know where I was or how I got there which drove my nerves crazy. My mouth was covered with what seemed to be 100 layers of duct tape which left my mouth tingling with the unpleasant taste. Both my hands were tied together with rope very securely behind an old wooden chair, my blood in both my hands felt as though it was trapped which caused me to feel the sensation of fireworks in them. My feet, however, were each wrapped around the very loose legs of the chair with very little duct tape which made me feel relieved because I actually had a chance to break free. As the smell of cigarettes and beer filled my lungs, I very quietly kicked my left foot as hard as I can till the wooden leg broke off and proceeded to …show more content…
As I slowly walked toward the door, the floors creaked in terror, the only thing that was on my mind was if the door was locked. I put my hand on the round, freezing cold, door knob and turned it to the right hoping to God that it doesn't end up being locked. I pulled the door with confidence that only lasted for a good 2 seconds after I realized the door wouldn't open. All my emotions were tied together as a flood of negativity overtook my mind. I tried again and once again I failed, with anger I hit the door while still holding the knob to the right and the door open. I convinced myself that my strength got the door to open when in reality I had to push it open and not pull but I needed the confidence. I got out as quickly as possible and ran to the nearest gas station. I was
