Lionel Messi Tax Fraud Case

Improved Essays
My son is one Lionel Messi is one of the best soccer players of ever lived, but for one silly mistake everything can change for him. Messi and his father were really close, but they were up to something. Messi and my husband were always respectful, responsible, and caring. In 2006 to 2009 Messi and his father were doing a tax fraud. Nobody was expecting this not even me. Who expected one of the richest athlete who ever lived not pay taxes.
In July 6, 2016 he was taken to court with his father. In Spain and Switzerland was where they made the tax fraud. I can tell by the look of their face they were both nervous and scared. Messi and his father were both found guilty and they well both sentence 21 months in prison. Although Messi was telling the judge that his father was behind all this because he was the one that was doing all the taxes and media thing meanwhile he was focusing with his sport. Most likely that they well not do any jail time because he will be paying the fine of 2 million euros. Fc Barcelona comments that
“We will always be here for Messi and will support him”
Messi responds “Thank you very much you guys are family

So they are likely not to do jail time. Lionel Messi nicely said, “ I have the money to pay for my father and myself.”
Messi paid the fine of 2.5 euros for himself and his father but it's not done yet because he has to go to his trail. It was really shocking to see what just happen, what they both going though because Messi and his father are really great person. Nobody really expected this from a responsible young man do this fraud. The message that I am trying to send out to everyone is to pay what got to

The person who inspires me the most is soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, he isn't just a normal soccer player to me he is my inspiration and my motivation to never stop trying, never give up, and doing the best I can. This belief is important to me because during my own personal struggles as a kid I looked up to Ronaldo as a role model someone who I could relate to and make a personal connection with. I have come to develop this belief because even with Cristiano's struggles in life he was still able to do what everyone claimed to be impossible, change the way million's of people view the sport of soccer. When I first witnessed Cristiano Ronaldo play soccer I didn't think of him as anything special just another ordinary Portuguese soccer player, but as his talent started to improve so…
