A lion, you know when you run your fastest, you feel fast right. Well a lion can run double the kilometers per hour. My animal is the african lion, it lives in the African Savannah. Want to learn a couple facts about the lion and its habitat, keep reading. A lions biome is in the African Savannah. His biome is on a large tropical grassland. It’s has his pride and a water source. It can get as cold as 68 degrees and as hot 86 degrees. Its biome has 3 males and 12 females, to help the lion hunt, and live. An abiotic factor is a factor in an animal's habitat that is not living. A biotic factor is a factor in a lion's habitat that is living. Some examples of abiotic factors are soil, water, oxygen, and other gasses. Some biotic factors are fungai, hoofed animal , zebras, antelopes, bacteria, bushes, grass, wild trees etc. …show more content…
It is a carnivore, there most common prey are zebras, giraffe, pigs, cape buffalo, wild bees, etc. A lion can grow up to be to be 6.5 feet and weigh up to 420 pounds. Lions hunt and live in groups named pride. Lions are better hunters than men, there one of the best hunters in the world, since they hunt in groups. Its ninch is kills, eats, and composes of the dead. There lifespan in 15 years, and women always live longer. A pantheon lion’s pride has 3 males and 12 females, but the females never leave.
