Linear Mixed Model

Linear mixed models for repeated measurements were conducted with the variable of occupation after injury as a covariate. The results of the linear mixed models showed statistically significant differences between the experimental and the control groups in terms of changes in self-care knowledge (β = 1.696, P = 0.004), selfefficacy (β = 5.547, P < 0.001), and self-care behaviors (β = 11.694, P < 0.001) after the 8 week program. Selfcare knowledge, self-efficacy, and self-care behaviors were improved in both the experimental and the control groups; however, the experimental group showed significantly greater improvement in all three areas after the 8 week program, compared to the control group
