#1 The Police- These are who protect people and property by enforcing state and country’s laws. They also try to prevent crime from continuing in the community they reside in the work. They also issue citations/fines. They make sure the community in which they are supervising is out of danger and by supervising they have an opportunity to prevent people from committing crimes.
#2 Correctional Agencies- These agencies are made to protect the community. They are the ones who create and carry out sentences instructed by the court and also maintain the respect of human rights towards any convict. No Crime can allow a person being treated differently until convicted.

They were the ones who did extensive research and found certain evidence. They also classified the suspects. They entered the Lindbergh’s home and were able to find the notes and seek for more proof. The Correctional agencies were the ones who interview suspects, they also were the ones who did extensive research on the note that was left and any other information they have found. They also got a team to spy on lead suspect Bruno Richard Hauptman, and they also got access to his handwriting to compare with the note that was left, when the baby went missing. The Courts were the ones who sentenced Hauptman’s outcome. They had several courts occur because a lot of clues came into play. This involves having the suspect involved. Richard’s first appearance and Trail began in January 3, 1935 in New Jersey. This trial lasted about 5 weeks (What happened, n.d.). A preliminary hearing is a hearing to determine if the suspect is found guilty. For Richard, the odds were against him. The case had obvious evidence that he was the criminal. The ladder broke off a few pieces of wood while in the home of the Lindbergh’s and the handwriting matched completely to the note left behind. The court was completely convinced of what was the outcome of these trails. And Lastly, The Arraignment is the formal reading that is given in the court that explains the charges of the criminal. In this case, Richard was convicted of murder in the first degree which the sentence was death.
Adjudication as it relates to this case:
Adjudication is the legal process that judges uses to revise the proof, the argument, and the investigation with that information the judge decides the outcome. In the Lindbergh’s case The judge revised both sides which is why it took so much time. If the judge would of only looked at one side of the trail than it would have a biased outcome. As the Judge revised the problem several court meetings were upheld to find out what was true and to be just.
