I agree with your statement about how Linda Riley was severely struggling in her attempts to manage time more efficiently. The way she explains these struggles definitely shows the audience a large part of her personality; she is extremely unorganized. Although Riley does not intend to plan her college schedule poorly, when she does try to compose her life, it ends badly. A positive aspect she also reveals is how determined she is to improve her grades. In fact, Riley even misses a party she deeply wanted to attend so she could catch up on her assignments. Not only does Riley miss an opportunity to do something she enjoys, but she also asks her friend for help. While this does not sound like a dramatic step for her future, it takes courage
