Lincoln Circle Center Mentor Reflection

I am doing my internship hours at Lincoln Circle Center. It is a great experience for me because I could learn from my mentor/ teacher Cecelia Pace. Together we set learning goals and plan learning experiences by integrating knowledge of each child’s temperament interest, gender, culture, and learning approaches. At Lincoln Circle Center I am learning how to support children’s development by integrating learning experiences related to all domains through the curriculum and their environment. In addition, with the help of the mentor teacher I will develop and plan, creative and innovative lesson plans according to the interest and ability of the students. With the help from my mentor, I will learn effective strategies that will help to guide me to learn how to teach according to the required standards of education. …show more content…
The professional behavior checklist gives me the opportunity to set expectations in order to gain abilities and skills. Based on the Professional Behavior Checklist, I set up my goal to improve my communication skills. I have realized how communication with different people could benefit me in many ways.
