Hamilton: An American Musical was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who gained a fascination with Alexander Hamilton after reading a biography about the historical figure. The Broadway musical is loosely based on the life of founding father Alexander Hamilton, following his journey from a poor child in the Caribbean to George Washington’s right hand man. The work features many well rounded characters and a fascinating plotline, but perhaps the most interesting aspect is its delivery.
