In today’s society, most people watch movies more often than they read books. Throughout a lifetime, people will watch hundreds, if not thousands, of movies. Every person has their own favorite genre; some people will never watch certain movies because they do not watch some genres. Abstaining from particular movies prevents people from seeing important life lessons; every movie has its own set of life lessons. There are some movies that everyone should see in their lifetime–for instance, Lilo and Stitch. While Lilo and Stitch is a children's movie, all ages can, and should, watch the movie. Lilo, both intentionally and unintentionally, causes problems during the beginning of the movie. She leaves hula practice, runs back to the house before Nani can pick her up, and messes up the meeting with their social worker, Cobra Bubbles. Even with all of the problems she caused, Nani forgave her and comforted her through her hard times. Lilo learned from Nani’s forgiveness and in turn forgave Stitch for almost drowning her when he was trying to escape Jumba and Pleakley. She almost got hurt, but she forgave him because he is important to her and she knew it was an accident. During the whole movie, family bonds strengthen from trust and working together. Additionally, multiple people are forgiven in the movie because of mistakes they have made. Further, many characters in the movie are not afraid to show their true personality, which will help watchers connect with the characters. Everyone needs to watch Lilo and Stitch; it has many lessons that will connect with all types of people. Having a movie that everyone has watched brings every person onto the same level; they can relate to each other over a simple children’s movie. These life lessons are simple, but seeing them through Lilo and Stitch will help unite
