Although the image looks like an advertisement or a meme, it is a public service announcement.They are not trying to sell a product. Rather, they are trying to sell a message in the form of a billboard. The group is "Live Action” ,a pro-life organization led by Lila Rose, and their message is one of mercy for very small babies in the face of abortion in our country. More specifically, they are calling for all people to take action, as their name implies, to vote for pro-life politicians and to join them in their mission for abolishing abortion .The image presents all three appeals in an interconnected way. The text conveys a logical analogy . The analogy is further brought to is brought to life by the image of the just-born baby, functioning both as a credible figure and as a innocent figure which is naturally emotional.
The text that makes the logical claim, is in white, which contrasts the darker background, making it very clear. It establishes the comparison between trees and preborn babies. Both are virtually defenseless against all types of attacks. Both also are

For others, it will make them just think about its message for a matter of seconds. Many will also look at the image and reject the message instantly, trying to forget about the unpleasant experience of having to look at it. But just as in all advertisements, the key to getting people to like some idea or product is to make them more familiar with it by simply showing it to them constantly. It becomes so ingrained in their minds that they have no choice but to ponder it. Like all taylor swift songs, if you hear it enough it becomes good.
