Character Analysis: Like Water For Chocolate

Have you ever wonder who would win old school or new school? As if all the things that we do now, would it beat what people did back then? Therefore, in the story “Like Water for Chocolate” Tita wanted to marry someone named Pedro. Tita love Pedro so much that she wanted to get married to him right away and could not wait any longer, even though that she could not. During this time, Nnaemeka and Nene were taking care of their children and had an interview about how Nnaemeka made the best decision on disobeying his father. As that was going on Secretary Zhao was think of another way to get his name out there. The reason why is because Tita has two older sisters, which means that she is the third oldest in the family. Tita took a day or two think about her plans on how she was going to convince her mother about marrying Pedro instead of her sister. Tita was in a depreciation about her love Pedro, knowing that she was not going to be able to marry him with her mother stubbornness. As days or even weeks gone by Tita has been going around asking for help about her problem. One day Tita walk by Papa Alejandro’s shop and saw a newspaper that caught her eye. She grabbed the paper and saw a picture of some named Secretary Zhao and Nnaemeka and Nene standing next to each other smiling at Nnaemeka and Nene wedding day. Until Secretary Zhao secretary, play him a voice mail of Tita asking for help about her situation. In Tita’s voice mail, she said that she happens to pass by a store and read an article about the story of Nnaemeka and Nene and what he has done for them and that she would be truly grateful if he would help her. Secretary Zhao did not care about what Tita had to say, as long it was a story for him to cover and make him look good he would do it. Because no matter what, he had no choice because that has the only story he has gotten a week.
