Each narrative writing has set parameters that make it a narrative. When written it has three elements. Action, description, and reflection are the elements. They are usually written in the order of action, description, and then the reflection. Narratives include Chronological order, flashbacks, in media resolution, hint at meaning in the introduction, focus on the description, and they save the meaning till the end to give a proper wrap up of the story. In narrative writing the author usually try and show actions. Also enlightens the reader on what happens in the story. Like it Linda Barry’s story she gives us a couple of events of significance.
