Light Yagami appears to have all these symptoms and can thus be considered to have antisocial personality disorder. For instance, Yagami used his father in order to prove to L that he was not light. Yagami told Misa to give his father his death note. By doing so, Yagami relinquished his powers and give them to his father. The father was also able to see people’s names by giving up half of his life time years to the death gods. In the process of having the deathnote, his was seriously injured and later died. However, before, he died we has able to see Yagami’s lifespan. Those with the death note do not have their life span visible, this is something that the other detectives knew. Thus, before dying, he said how happy he was that Yagami was not Kira since he could see his son’s life span, the detectives believed him. Once his father died, Yagami leaned in close to his father’s corpse smiled and called him a fool, while the other detectives around him cried for their boss. Furthermore, this example also demonstrates how easy Yagami can manipulate others and sacrifice them for his own benefit. Moreover, Yagami was smart enough to come up with such an elaborate plan to further prove his innocence which shows how intelligent he is. Not to mention, Yagami was always at the top of his
