Light Exposure Therapy Case Study

Decent Essays
I would recommend not giving Client B a biomedical treatment because the only therapy that is highly effective for SAD is light exposure therapy. Another highly effective treatment would be giving the prescribed medication of antidepressants to help against his major depressive disorder. As well as I think the more beneficial psychotherapy that would help my client would be behavioral/humanistic psychotherapy, because I believe my client is having a harder time expressing his feelings and/or emotions. There are multiple people who are dealing with depression and find it difficult to get help that they need for their disorder. Everyone needs some kind of support “team”, therapy, or medication to help them get better or to find a possible cure
