In our present time, the extracurricular and academia we do impacts are life’s goals. My ultimate lifetime goals are to have a great career and earning enough money to send my parents to Vietnam for the first time since they have immigrated to America. My plans to achieving my goals are presented in this essay.

With that being said in most cases I’ll need a Master’s degree to start practicing; however, after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science and Disorder, I’ll have to pick whether to go towards audiology or speech-language pathology. With each field, there are subfields that one can pick, so I can either get a Master’s degree or a Medical degree if I decide to go into medicine for the respective field. At the moment, I’m doing an internship at a pediatric therapy clinic, observing what speech therapists do in various cases.
