Lifestyle Class Research Paper

Improved Essays
The course high schools should take to be able to graduate would have be a lifestyle class. It would teach students the responsibilities and ownership of the life that they would have to face after they graduate. Students would learn how to do taxes, learn how to mortgage a house, balance a checkbook, and other financial aspects.
The first lesson the students should learn in this lifestyle class is the basics of financial management with emphasis on banking. In this class students would learn how to open both savings and checking accounts. They would understand the basics of each account and when they should use it. Additionally, students would learn how to write checks and balance a checkbook. They would also get guidance in how to apply
